Work as a technical writer

Created a tutorial for beginner users. The task was to investigate overlapping issues of the users and coming up with an innovative solution towards solving it. I created a brand-new tutorial which was a compilation of these issues. The tutorial was well accepted by the devs as well as the community. My work was merged into their wiki as a result.

Work as a developer

I have been an active participant in hackathons for the past 4 years. This has helped me acquire experience as a underdog coder and build a network with likeminded people. My work was well received at multiple hackathons which opened up multiple doors for me; I have had a chance to work for multiple organizations.

CPC strives to improve the condition of the internet. Most of the work is based on protecting internet samaritans and providing support for underpriviledged children.
For this project, my team and I built a forum for the volunteers of CPC. We devised an algorithm to mathematically assess the work of every volunteer. Depending on how much work they have put in, tenacity of workload, and a few other factors they were awarded points. Points could be used to claim rewards.

The forum was built using PHP-Symfony4. The work was completed in the Spring of 2018 and used for a brief period of time by CPC.

Facebook-India alongside YKA organized a hackathon in the fall of 2017. I spearheaded a team to build a community support website using the Django-Python tech stack. The idea and its execution placed my team as the 1st runners’ up at the competition.

  • Library Management System

Developed the library system from Scottish Church College from scratch. I designed the structure of the management system and developed it single handedly. I used the LAMP(Linux-Apache-MySQL-PHP) stack. The system is currently being used by all students and faculty.

I have undertaken multiple projects throughtout my academic career and will continue to do so further. For a complete list of projects please read my official curriculum vitae.

Awards

I have been an active participant of competitive coding competitions as well as hackathons for the past couple of years. I have placed at many of these events, you can check the entire list on my curriculum vitae.

Among all awards, there are few acheivements that I uphold as trophies.

  • Felicitated by Times Of India for the award of “Student of the year”. This is a rare honour given to a select few for excellence in the field of academics.

  • Stood first among all universities of my state in the annual science fest. The event is based on robotics, and I built a spy rover in my freshman year which had a huge part in putting us ahead.

About Me

I am a graduate student from India. I enjoy building new things, watching them transform from insignificance to magnificence. I would consider myself a team-player; I enjoy working together as team with likeminded people. I read books, play basketball, and play an unhealthy amount of Dota 2.
